  • Concord is a series of irl events where founders share the stories behind offline, human-first businesses.

Think stuff that AI can’t replace: cabins, craft schools, irl-dating platforms, retreats, small farms, third places, off-grid ideas, and anything built for connection in the real world.

  • You arrive, check in and meet a few people.

A founder speaks for 20 minutes about what they’re building.

Then we break out into small group conversations.

People usually stay for a drink afterwards.

  • You can find upcoming events on our luma calendar here: ➡️ Concord events

  • We host in pubs, studios, workshops, and community spaces in London (launching in new cities soon!)

The exact address is sent once you’ve got a ticket.

  • No. You just need to be curious about human-first businesses and want to meet people building them.

  • Most venues have non-alcoholic drinks, mocktails, tea, or snacks available.

  • Yes. We don’t sell tickets at the door.

  • Concord was created by Rory Oxenham and Joe Brettler. They wanted to meet people building stuff in the real world.

They named the community after a small town in Massachusetts where Thoreau and Emerson lived. A place that gave rise to ideas about simplicity, nature and inner truth. (It also means ‘hearts together’. Nice stuff, that.)
